Enhancements

Custom Label

Users can now create custom labels for Contact and Time/Expense category which can be assigned to existing or new entries. The applied labels can be used to filter by contacts, or by time or expense cards.

Enhanced Dashboard

Users will be able to remove system defined views from their Firm and Me dashboards. They will also be able to use the restore option to reset the dashboard to original settings.

View Event Information

While editing an event, user will be able to view information about who created the event and by whom it was last updated.

Invoice and Email Template Merge Fields

  • When you include the merge fields [#MatterFileNum#] and [#Matter#] in the email subject line, the matter name and file number will be pre-populated
  • New merge fields [#ClientPrimaryEmail#], [#ClientSecondaryEmail#], and [#ClientWorkEmail#] are added to the invoice and email template library. Using these will populate the email associated with client party.

Fixes

  • Once you update the fixed fee or contingent fee for a matter and save it, the changes will be reflected in the unbilled balance summary.
  • If your account does not have matter auto-numbering enabled, the Matter File# field will be editable.
  • User can make payments on multiple invoices using the trust retainer option, even if the invoices have decimal amounts.
  • The system will utilize the chart of accounts linked to the matter billing method specified under Setup > Firm Settings > Accounting > Default Accounts for Client Costs Posted to Matters, even if the payee associated with the expense has a different chart of accounts assigned.
  • When a firm user invites a client to create a client portal account, the Client Portal tab within Matter settings will only display Activation Pending message.
  • If the option for Auto-calculate tax on payables/disbursements screens  is enabled under Setup > Firm Settings > Financial, the Total tax field for disbursement or withdrawal transactions in operating or credit card bank accounts will be checked.
  • User will be able to edit contacts created using configured contact type without getting a blank screen.
