Using the Timesheet

Keeping track of multiple timers enables you to easily monitor time for various activities, accounting for interruptions.

While on your Timesheet, you can easily:
  • Easily associate the client, matter, hours, task, description, billable status, or timekeeper.
  • Click to resume the timer
  • Track time across matters
  • Post time to individual matters
  • Bulk post time to multiple matters
  • Bulk delete time for multiple matters.

Note:

  • When initiating a new timer, it automatically moves to the top of the timer list.
  • Sorting the grid directly from the display screen is not possible since Hours and Value are calculated columns within the display screen.

You can view your timesheet from two areas:

Option One:

  1. Click on the Timesheet icon in the upper right corner of your screen.

Option Two:

  1. Click on Time in the left-hand navigational panel.
  2. You will see options for Time Dashboard and Timesheet. Click on Timesheet.
  3. The Timesheet screen will now be displayed.

Time Entry Format

You can enter time in minutes, hours, or hours and minutes, whichever you find easier.

Increment Example
Minutes
  • 48 = 48 minutes (displays as 00:48:00)
  • 80 = 1 hour, 20 minutes (displays as (01:20:00)
Hours
  • 6h = 6 hours (displays as 06:00:00)
Hours and minutes
  • 2h15m  = 2 hours, 15 minutes (displays as 02:15:00)
