Your application integrates with your current email provider to organize your firm’s emails on the matter level and incorporate them into your billing workflow. Integrating does not replace your everyday email tool. You continue to send/receive regular communication as you normally do, but the integration allows you to seamlessly archive

You can forward your firm’s emails to the application for easy reference and for tagging to individual matters. Within the application’s inbox, you can also bill time spent on email activity.

The Outlook Add-in allows you to add an Outlook email that you receive, send, or draft to a matter and track time. If you have not already, learn how to Install the Outlook Add-In.

You can log out of the CosmoLex Add-In for Outlook at any time. Important: Logging out of the Add-In does not end your CosmoLex session, it only ends your Add-In session.

Receive the Daily Digest Email The daily digest email is a daily summary report of your attorney’s major activities such as activities, meetings, notes, and more.

When an email is sent from your application, it automatically logs it within the System Email sub-folder and tags it to the applicable matter. This communication history includes items such as reminder notices, user invitations, and invoices you send via email.

If you use the automatic email forwarding option, you may want to block certain emails from coming into your application’s inbox. You can add exclusion rules to prevent the system from accepting those emails for tagging.

Use Labels to Organize your Emails Once you create labels and set up your email integration, you can use them to help organize your emails.
