Export a QBO Statement
You can export your QBO statement from most banks’ websites. Almost all banks offer the QBO format.
Export a QBO Statement from Bank Website
To export your statement in QBO format:
- Log into your bank’s website.
- Navigate to your statement downloads area.
- Choose the correct starting and ending dates.
- Download the file in QBO format.
Note: If your bank does not offer the QBO format, you can:
- Work with a CosmoLex Consultant to import your statement.
- Use a third-party utility to convert your statement to QBO format.
- Obtain an OFX file and convert it to QBO format.
Export a QBO Statement from American Express
To export a statement in QBO format from AmEx:
- Log into American Express.
- Click Statements & Activities.
- On the right, click the green download arrow.
- From the drop-down menu, click Card Activity. It is critical you click only Card Activity.
A new screen opens. - From the left navigation menu, click Quickbooks.
- At the bottom of the screen, click Download.
The statement downloads to your designated location.
