Note: This article will walk you through how to record payment of your Transaction Levies using our Transaction Levy feature. If you chose to track your levies using Accounts Payable instead, follow these steps.
Transaction Levies may need to be paid for real estate or civil litigation cases in Newfoundland & Labrador, Ontario, and Alberta. The system pre-fills the levy amounts based on the province and levy type. This amount can be overwritten under Setup > Regional Settings.
