This feature will allow users to create abbreviations for frequently used words so that they need not enter the full word or phrase and just enter the abbreviation in the description fields while adding Time Cards, Expense Cards, Matters, Invoices, Clients, and Payees.
- Start at the Setup tab at the top of the screen
- Click "List Items"
- Click "Shorthand" on the left side
- Click "Add"
- Enter the code and the description
- Click "Save"
- After the shorthand code has been created, go to any description field (time card for example) and type the @ symbol and then the code. Hit enter key, for the requested description to populate
