Nova Scotia HST Rate

If you are in Nova Scotia and have started a trial or created an account after December 2, 2025, the default HST rate for your account is now14% .
If you are currently a user in Nova Scotia, you can navigate to Setup > Firm Settings > Financial > Tax Settings and update your default HST rates by clicking on the pencil icon beside the number.

 

Payee Tax ID Field

When you add or edit a payee under Contact > Payee, the system will now warn you if the entered digits in the tax id field do not meet the requirements of the standard SSN/SIN formatting (###-##-####) (##-#######).
