The Invoice Template setting in Set-Up lets you pick a firm-wide template for all of your Hourly, Fixed Fee or Contingency Matters. However, there are times when a client will request a different style for the template than the one used for all other Matters with that Billing Method. 


In order to use a Matter Specific Invoice Template, here are the steps to take: 


  • Click on Add/Edit from the Matter screen
  • Click on Advanced Settings



  • Once inside the Advanced Settings section, click the box next to Customize invoice formats just for this matter.



  • Use the Drop Down Menu to select the Invoice Template you wish to use 



  • After selecting the Invoice Template you wish to use, Click Save
