At times, you may need to restrict a user at the firm from having access to communicating with clients.

In Cosmolex, you can restrict users from viewing and sending messages to clients on a matter level.

  • Simply, go to Matter Details Page > Click Client Portal Tab
  •  Under Client Portal Parties section, you can click the "< " symbol to put the user in restricted section and the change will be updated immediately.

















  • The user will be restricted from accessing client chat as well as receiving client portal activity notifications.
